This guide demonstrates how to add a new smart key for a 2025 GAC Trumpchi YingBao equipped with an ID4A chip using Launch X431 IMMO Plus, IMMO Elite, or IMMO Pro together with X-PROG5 key programmer.
Operation Guide
Step 1: Generate Remote with X431 X-PROG5
Connect Launch X431 IMMO programmer and X-PROG5 using the blue USB cable included with the X-PROG5 package.
Connect the G5 programmer and vehicle correctly.
Power on X431 tablet and enter: Key Programming → Vehicle Remote → China → GAC → All Remotes → YingBao ID4A
Place the original GAC key on the key detection area of the Launch G5 and tap “Generate”.
Wait until the remote generation process is completed successfully.
Step 2: Match Anti-Theft Key
Enter the IMMO function from the main menu.
Select: TRUMPCHI → TRUMPCHI Software (e.g. V10.30) → Automatically Search → EMPOW 2024
Check and confirm that the detected vehicle information is correct.
Select: Smart Key (With PEPS)
Prepare the new smart key to be learned and place it near the vehicle’s central console area. Make sure the key battery has sufficient power.
Enter the 8-digit PIN code
(Obtain the password through an authorized third-party provider.)
Confirm that the entered PIN code is correct.
Place the key that needs to be learned inside the vehicle.
Remove the already learned key from the vehicle, then place the next key into the vehicle for learning.
The key learning process will complete successfully.
The current number of learned keys is now 2.
The 2025 GAC Trumpchi YingBao smart key has been successfully added using the Launch X431 IMMO tablet with X-PROG5 programmer.
