LAUNCH X431 X-PROG5 successfully erases and programs a Ford MPS6 GEN3 GNE3 TC1784 TCU in BENCH mode. The operation is performed using the X-431 ECU Clone software and the dedicated connection cable.
Connect LAUNCH X431 X-PROG5 to a Windows computer using a USB cable.
Run X-431 ECU Clone Software V10.65 or a higher version.
Search for [mps6 gen3] and select [Ford B-Max MPS6 GEN3 TC1784].
Choose [BENCH] as the connection type.

Follow the diagram to connect LAUNCH G5 to the original Ford MPS6 Bosch TCU using the dedicated cable.
Read TCU Data
After completing the wiring, perform the ECU connection.
The TCU is connected successfully, and the data can be read without problems.
Program the New TCU
Disconnect the original TCU and connect the replacement TCU to X-PROG5.
Back up the original TCU data, then load the original data into the new TCU and perform the programming operation.
The data transfer and programming are completed successfully.
