Troubleshooting Steps for Launch SmartLink Offline Issues:
1. Check Physical Connection
Make sure the SmartLink C is securely plugged into the vehicle’s OBDII port and the power indicator light is steadily on (solid).
2. Reboot and Power Cycle
Unplug the SmartLink VCI, wait about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. At the same time, force-close the Launch app on your tablet/phone and relaunch it.
3. Verify Internet Connection
The device requires a stable internet connection. Check that your mobile device’s Wi-Fi or cellular data is turned on and working properly.
4. Check Signal Strength
Ensure SmartLink is not too far from the router, or confirm that your mobile device has a strong and stable network signal.
