How to Connect X431 PAD VII to Tesla Model 3/ Y?
Here X431SHOP tech answers:
There are two adapters for Tesla,
12-pin adapter fits in S (X) models produced before September 2015 (including September)
20-pin adapter fits in S (X) models produced after September 2015.
2)Tesla Airbag Repair Special Connector
For Model X,
+12V: 12V power supply
GND: Ground wire
CAN-H: CAN high
CAN-L: CAN low
For Model S,
PW: Flying wire, short circuit two positions together so that it can flash EEPROM
+12V: 12V power supply
GND: Ground wire
CAN-H: CAN high
CAN-L: CAN low
For Model 3,
+12V: 12V power supply
GND: Ground wire
CAN-H: CAN high
CAN-L: CAN low
3)LAN Network Interface Diagnostic Connector
This cable allows PADIII/ PAD V/ PAD VII/ EV MAX/ PRO 3S V3.0 to switch into maintenance mode.
