LAUNCH has released a major software update for X431 V+ SmartLink HD and LAUNCH diagnostic scanners. The latest update adds new software packages for heavy-duty vehicles and electric vehicles, giving technicians broader coverage for commercial and new energy vehicle diagnostics.
New Heavy Duty Software
The LAUNCH X431 V+ SmartLink HD, also known as the PRO3 LINK HD Commercial Vehicles scanner, now supports five additional heavy-duty software packages.
HD_AGCO for AGCO machinery
HD_KUBOTA for Kubota heavy equipment
HD_YANMAR for Yanmar commercial diesel systems
HD_KAWASAKI_KCM for Kawasaki KCM construction equipment
HD_MAZ for MAZ commercial trucks
These additions expand the scanner’s coverage of commercial vehicles and heavy equipment, providing more options for professional technicians working with different diesel and machinery systems.
New EV Software Packages
The overseas software package for LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+ EV has also received four new EV software packages.
- EV_GACAION for GAC AION electric vehicles
- EV_DPCA for Dongfeng Fukang EV models
- EV_HD_ECUAID for commercial vehicle EV electronic control systems
- EV_HOUSE for EV House Dian Dong Wu models
With these new packages, PRO3S+ EV users can access additional diagnostic coverage for electric passenger vehicles and commercial EV systems.
How to Get the Latest Software
Existing LAUNCH users can access the newly added software through an online update.
Simply connect the diagnostic tablet to the internet and open the Software Update section. Check for the latest available packages and download the required software directly to the device.
The update provides X431 V+ SmartLink HD and PRO3S+ EV users with expanded coverage for both heavy-duty and electric vehicle diagnostics. Before performing an update, make sure the tablet has a stable internet connection and sufficient storage space.
